Sindoor Khela, one of the most cherished rituals of Durga Puja, holds deep emotional and cultural significance in Bengali tradition. Celebrated on Vijaya Dashami, the final day of Durga Puja, it marks the farewell of Maa Durga as she returns to her celestial abode after her annual visit to Earth. The ceremony begins with married women offering sweets, betel leaves, and prayers to Maa Durga, seeking her blessings for the well-being and longevity of their families.
