Our Special Puja

At Bengali Association Ulhasnagar, we celebrate the spiritual essence and cultural richness of Bengal through a series of sacred pujas performed with deep devotion and traditional reverence. Each ritual holds a special significance, connecting devotees to divine energy and timeless values.

Kali Puja, observed on the auspicious night of Diwali, invokes the fierce and protective energy of Goddess Kali, blessing devotees with strength, courage, and liberation from fear. Ganpati Puja celebrates Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and marks the beginning of new ventures with prayers for wisdom and success. Through the sacred Satya Narayan Puja, devotees worship Lord Vishnu with devotion, chant holy stories, and seek blessings for happiness, health, and prosperity. Maha Shivaratri, a night dedicated to Lord Shiva, is observed with fasting, chanting of mantras, and the sacred Abhishek, inviting inner strength, purity, and spiritual fulfillment.

The divine grace of Saraswati Puja honors the goddess of knowledge, learning, and the arts, inspiring students and artists to embrace wisdom and creativity. Lakshmi Puja, celebrated during Kojagari Purnima and Diwali, invites the goddess of wealth and abundance into homes with prayers, offerings, and glowing lamps that symbolize hope and prosperity. Each of these pujas, steeped in devotion and tradition, reflects the cultural essence of Bengal and strengthens the spiritual bond between individuals and the divine. Currently, our idol of Maa is 17 feet long, the biggest in Mumbai. It is sculpted by Amit Pal and his team from Kolkata. We have a massive digital following and the count of footfall crosses 5 lakhs year on year.

We also commemorate the life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, whose message of simplicity, devotion, and universal harmony continues to inspire spiritual seekers. On Kalpataru Puja, observed on January 1, devotees gather to celebrate his divine blessings as the “wish-fulfilling tree,” seeking peace, spiritual growth, and fulfillment for the year ahead. Through these sacred observances, Bengali Association Ulhasnagar not only preserves the timeless heritage of Bengal but also fosters unity, devotion, and cultural pride, creating a sacred space where tradition thrives, faith deepens, and the community grows stronger through shared worship and collective celebration.
