Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Puja
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the great saint of Bengal, is worshipped by devotees on his birth anniversary and other occasions. His puja reflects simplicity and spiritual devotion rather than grandeur.
An image of Ramakrishna is placed on an altar decorated with flowers, incense, and fruits. Devotees chant bhajans, sing kirtans, and recite passages from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. The rituals also include meditation, reading his teachings, and offering bhog like fruits and sweets. Many temples of the Ramakrishna Mission conduct day-long prayers, lectures, and community meals. This puja emphasizes truth, simplicity, and universal brotherhood, carrying forward the message of Sri Ramakrishna’s spiritual legacy.
